Sound Tester

An exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing environmental consultancy based in Staffordshire. The successful candidate will work from home and would be expected to cover the Midlands area whilst occasionally being required to travel further afield.

​

The Acoustics Consultant would be involved in the assessment of noise for various types of projects including residential and commercial. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake noise monitoring, modelling and assessment works to the relevant British Standards. Their role will involve liaising with colleagues, clients and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be a member of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA)

• Educated to degree level in Acoustics or a related discipline and/or possess the Institute of Acoustics Diploma

• Must have at least 2 years experience in an acoustics-related role

• Full driving license and access to a vehicle

As we continue to expand the business, we are looking to recruit a Flood Risk Consultant. We are ideally looking for a full time candidate who can ideally operate from our office in the Midlands. However, we welcome applicants from all over the UK.

Candidate requirements:

• - BSc and/or MSc in Environmental Management, Geoscience or Hydrology

• - Experience working for a Consultancy in this field completing flood risk assessments

• UK driving license

• Good communication skills
