When do I need a Hedgerow Survey?

Hedgerow surveys often come as part of a Preliminary Ecological Appraisal (P.E.A). These surveys are used to evaluate how important a hedgerow is to the local landscape. We are able to establish if the hedgerow(s) are species-rich or species-poor.

 

We can also identify their potential to sustain protected species (such as nesting birds). Any necessary remedial action, in the form of mitigation, compensation and translocation, can be undertaken by Serva Environmental if needed or required.
